Is it okay to go into a bridal shop and try on gowns even if your not getting married soon?
I am not engaged, or going to be getting married soon, and I'm 21. But I have always wanted to try on wedding gowns, and see what actual style and details I like in one. Is it wrong to go to some bridal shops or wedding dress stores, and try them on? And if they ask me if I'm getting married, then do I have to lie and say yes???
Go watch "Say Yes to the Dress" on cable/dish. They can spot a phony bride when she walks in the salon. They give her the benefit of the doubt, but in the end she gets hustled out the door.
Don't do this. Would you want some smarty pants fake taking up time and have a bridal consultant short change your time with her when you really do get married? Or snag a bridal consultant that just dealt with one? Bet even the most professional consultant would find it difficult to deal with the next customer.
They base their sales on how many dresses they sell and often have a quota they must meet. It is mean and rude to take money out of their pockets for a lark, and even meaner to potentially cause one to lose a job. . They have families to support just like everybody else. I guess you don't care if they eat tuna fish for a month because she missed a sale because you were playing Barbie Doll dress up. How old are you? A child would pull this prank. Grow up. You say you are 21, act like it.
I've seen this question here before, I think you are just hear to laugh at us, too. good job, little girl.
