If there is no train on my wedding gown why do I need a bustle?

The dress is already very poofy and the matieral is already "rouched" (?sp) I specifically bought a gown with no train to avoid this situation, I think the seamstress is just trying to charge me more. Please help!!!! My wedding is two months away!!!

No train means that you do NOT need a bustle. End of story. What is she trying to bustle? The part that gets bustled IS the train.

She is definitely trying to pull the wool over your eyes. Absolutely refuse to pay for anything involving make a bustle.
