has anyone ever bought a alfred angelo bridesmaid dress for their wedding dress?

we re sort of on a budget and i saw on alfred angelo website they have bridesmaid dresses too but they make them in ANY colour you want. so i was thinking i could buy a bridesmaid dress in ivory or white, for a whole lot less than what a bridal dress would cost, but equally classy in my opinion
any one ever done that and did anyone notice?
