How important is it for all the bridesmaids to wear th e same earrings in your wedding?

My wedding is coming up and my mother in law is bugging me out about all the bridesmaids MUST wear the same earrings. I really didn't think it was that important as long as they don't wear any outrageously large ones. How important is this?

It's your wedding, it should be how you want it. If you don't care, then it's not important. Explain to your mother in law how you feel and if that doesn't help talk to your fiance to see if that helps. As long as you and your fiance are happy, everything is as it should be.

What is the rule of thumb on how much a bridesmaids dress should be??

I am in a wedding for yes the crazy friend and she is picking out bridemaids dress. Isn't their a scale for them??.. like the bridemaids dress shouldn't be more the wedding dress? I just think it's rude that if your wedding dress only cost $200 to have the bridemaids be more money. Am I the only one??

i think it is extremely rude. personally i just told my girls (only two) to buy whatever black dress they wanted to get that they felt comfortable in. i have had friends who have had crazy ridiculous ugly/ expensive dresses and i think it is selfish. the wedding is theirs but unless they are paying for the dress they should take into consideration that not everybody is rich.
i actually had one friend who asked me if i was going to dye my hair a "normal" color for her wedding and i wasn't even in it!!! they really do think the world revolves around them!!
