First off, to the person below, "Essence of Australia" is a designer and you can purchase this brand throughout most of the US.

Anyway, as for a trunk show, most people think that this means "sale", but that is not the case. A trunk show is usually where a designer/company sets a date at a certain bridal boutique to "show off" his/her new designs. The benefits of this is for them to see and hear exactly what the consumer has to say. This benefits the consumer because she can buy directly from the designer and make changes, etc with the designer/company on a personal basis.

Although, depending on what bridal boutique is having the trunk show, some may offer significant discounts/bargains for attending and purchasing from the trunk show. I will tell you that most of these entail you to purchase the dress directly as is, so remember that you may have to pay extra costs somewhere for alterations.

Generally, if you are able to find your "perfect dress" at a trunk show as well as the boutique giving you discounts for buying right then and there, it is well worth it!
