What is the most you would pay for a prom gown?

It is a prom gown. A dress you would most likely wear only one time...I feel that 300 - 350 is enough. One of my friends bought a gown for prom...it was $475, not including tax!! Is this too much for a one-timer?

Well I paid £175 for my dress which would be hmm $100 ish? I think that is more than enough to be honest.

Who cares how expensive your dress is? As long as you are comfortable in it and feel special
