discount designer bridal gowns

when do wedding gowns go on sale?

i have 12 months to go and i found the most gorgeous dress today!

i know stock turns over every 3 months when new designs come in but was wondering if anyone knows when dresses go on sale? like what times of the year etc?

This bridal outlet just had samples and order the dress you want in standard sizes when you pay a deposit..

the dress is 5300 designer is ella by essence.

the price tag had $1695 and i enquired about discounts and (cos other bridal shops were quick to give you cash discounts) she said if you pay cash in full you get a free veil OR 5% discount...that still makes the dress way over my budget!!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

well there must be heaps of profit in them cos there were lots of $2000 dresses in the $500 clearance rack!

But the brand I want is only available in one store in my area so I think thats why they dont discount them much.

It really depends on the designer. Many designers do not reduce their prices because they don't have to. In your case you may not be able to get that dress any cheaper. I would check with the store and see if any other store has it cheaper. Good luck!

Why not buy cheap wedding dresses or discount bridal gown?

Most people especially the wedding dresses designer said, 'It's amazing and it's cheaper than a wedding cake, so I'd say grab the frock and run.

'It will help young couples whose priorities are investing in a flat or a house rather than spending money on the wedding.

'I find it extraordinary that you can go into a supermarket and buy a wedding dress, but it's cheap and cheerful, if that's what you're into.'

'Every bride wants to look her absolute best on her wedding day. For many, it's the one time to splash out on a beautiful, exquisitely cut dress,' she said.

'If brand's dresses haven't compromised on quality or cut, then great, but no bride wants to look cheap on her big day.
