I am looking for a wedding dress in my budget.?

I am getting married in June and need to find a dress pretty soon. I have my I on Demetrios however I think that designer may be out of my budget. I would like to spend as little as possible for my dress, however, I still want a Beautiful dress. I saw the web site in wedding .com and I liked there dresses but didn't love ay of them. So any way first of all does anyone know how much Demetrois dresses cost... and are there other designers that are similar and cheaper. Thank you for your help.
So far all the answers have been very helpful...Thank you. And also I forgot to mention that it is not beneath me to go to davids bridal or wear last seasons dresses. All that matters to me is that I look Beautiful for as cheap as possible....Cheap but not look cheap.

Couple suggestions.
1 - try a salon in your area, give them a budget amount -- tell them " I won't spend over $500 - what have you got?" and see what happens. You can also inquire about the price range of their dresses when you call to set your appointment -- "before I book an appointment, my budget is $500 or less, do you carry dresses in my price range?"
2 - David's Bridal - you can catch a good deal if you hit a sale!
3 - check www.theknot.com -- they have $ symbols to rate the price range of dresses. This will tell you if your eyes are bigger than your wallet on the Demetrios dresses.

Yes, Davids Bridal has some "cheap" gowns, but they also have gowns that are nice but so-so and you could go to a salon and find lovely gowns for the same price-tag.
My budget was up to $1,000 but if I could spend as little as possible I could direct the extra money to other wedding things I really wanted more. And it also bugged me to spend SO MUCH on a dress (I'm more tom-boy than girlie-girl although for my wedding I wanted to look like a bride).

I went to a salon in my mom's town (Newark, NJ area) where no dress is over $1,600 and they had several dresses from $600 - $800 that were really pretty. I drifted towards the designer Bonny -- www.bonny.com . If you look at David's Bridal, they have LOTS of dresses in that same price range.

Then I found an off-the-rack dress shop near where I live (Harrisburg, PA area) -- the choices are only what is in the shop, but the prices are a nice discount!

I never found a dress that totally jumped out at me as perfect for me so I ended up getting a clearance dress at David's Bridal Online (I tried it on in-store) for $249 plus shipping it came to $280. It was a nice dress and it looked good and I was satisfied that it didn't cost a ton of money.
